What is Ransomware?
It is a type of malicious software designed to block access to a computer system until a sum of money is paid.
From this definition nothing is clear. Don't worry I am here to explaining you each and everything. I also discuss that how to solve this problem.
How ransomware attacks to your device?
First of all it is a malicious software made by a person or an organisation. They made this software for special purpose. When this software will be installed in your device it will make a duplicate copy of your files and folders and encrypted those duplicate file and folders. After encrypting it will delete your original file and folders of your device. When you open your pc you will see all files and folder' s icon was changed . When you want to open any files the message will show that your files are encrypted and need to pay $300 in Bitcoin to decrypt your files . It means you have to pay $300 in Bitcoin to get your data back.
What is encrypt and decrypt?
When you want to protect your data from other users or hackers it is a perfect way of protecting your data.
When you want to encrypt your data it will generate a password which you have to use for decrypting your data or read and use your data.
Encrypt means lock your data and decrypt means unlock your data.
How can you get relief from it?
Those who are using Windows 7,8 ,10 , Vista and regular update their operating system they are safe. But those people are using pirated version and don't have activation key thay are not safe and any time you may be attacked by this virus. In our country most of the people are using free software. If you using pirated copy you must have activation key. Then you can update your operating systems. Because if you updated OS in regular basis then you will get updated patch from Microsoft.
What things you do or not to do get relief from it?
1. Don't open any emails from unknown sources. If confirm that email is sent from reliable source then you can open it. Hackers are sending links through email attachment.
2. Don't go to any sites which is harmfull for your machine. When you go to unknown sites and click on unknown link . This process is harmfull for your pc. Some time we visit lots of sites to download new movies and games. So please don't do this process.
3. Save your useful and confidential data on google drive. From where you can easily get your back-up.
Or use external storage to store your data.
4. On firewall protection in your pc and activate an original antivirus in your device.
Firewall try to protect your computer from autoinstall softwares. You have to update your antivirus regularly.
Above steps for people those are not effected by ransomware malicious. If you are already affected then you have 3 ways to get recover from it.

2. Format your pc

In my opinion you must not pay to hackers for your own data. There is no confirmation that after paying the money they will give you key.
